Alright, think it's high time for me to update on Taiwan.
It's been like almost 2months. Haa. Time flies indeed.
& in slightly more than a month's time, I'm going to HongKong - again!

Day 0
It's the 5289345th time travelling on budget. What to do with no in-flight entertainment ?

The very isolated, depressing & lifeless airport

We don't feel welcome at all...Look at my dejected bf.. Bahhh

Anyways, check-in to our hotel

It's veryy small. Budget mah..
And yeap ! That's a condom in the pic, right at the bottom. They've 24hrs of non-stop porn on tv and those weird chatlines advertisements can !

Left lugguages in the hotel and head straight down to 士林夜市
With the looong queue.. One couldn't miss the famous 好大大鸡排 store.

Walked around but did not get anything. The weather during our trip there was damn bloody humid & hot even in the night.
Went to the 24hr Eslite Bookstore before heading back to our hotel.

Day 1
My daily "Standard procedure" before heading out for the day. Haha


1st stop of the day 西门町
Maybe it's still early, the whole place's quieter than what i've expect.
Nevertheless, we had the 'must-try' Ah Zhong Mee Sua!

Super duper delicious ! Dear even went all the way back one of the mornings to 打包 back to hotel for breakfast. Haa

Shopped around & walk passed this 鸭肉编 store and decided to give it a try.
Alas ! It's horrible !!! at least to me. Goshh..


Had some ice-cool dessert to cool ourselves. 三兄妹? 三兄弟? I forgot. Haha

And boy arent we lucky ! We hopped into a karaoke cab. lol
The 阿姨 cabbie was soo friendly and cute. Stereo, mini tv screen, song selection 'menu' & microphone - All in !
I had a 'duet' with her. Haha.

Day 3


First up.. PS BuBu

Had a really tough time locating this restaurant. But this is also where we had our first proper meal since we arrived in Taiwan.

The whole place was totally empty when we arrive. We are the only customers !
And it seems like we had the entire place booked for ourselves.
We could run around and do whatever we want. Mwhahaha

Yeap, there's the bf acting stupid.

And here's me.. Trying to be as demure as possible. Hahaha


Urgh.

Thanks to my room's light. It went bersark the day before & became a discotheque whenever i switch it on.
it's extremely irritating and tooo dark to 'work' - Gotta take care of my eyes you know

淡水 is by far the place i like most during the trip
We got lotsa 土产 there, had 黑糖豆花 at some random shop which was AWESOME !

Day 4


First stop, 龙山寺


Roamed around till this 华西街？
Most of the place were not open for business yet, it's more of a night market i guess
But, there's lotsss of restaurants selling snake delicacies. Puke

Lastly, made our way down to 北投 for hotspring !




The hotspring is really really really, erm, hot ? Haa
It's madness la, it took me like at least half an hour of screaming & squirming before really dipping into the bath.
Dear of cos have got no problem cos his skin is SO thick ! Mine's super thin & delicate ok.. Hahaha
It got red just ater afew minutes -.-
After the hotspring, we're led into a room for our SPA !!

Know what's so great about it ? It cost only 10SGD !!!
It was sucha good and filling meal to end our day.. Mmm-mmmmm

Day 5




It was pouring like crazy on this day.
Luckily, our itenary for the day is just to 'conquer' all the shopping centres!

Day 6


Sight-seeing day
Travelled up to 九份, nothing much & we went further up

Chatted with the bus uncle and he recommanded us to visit 基隆 - 庙口
Felt kinda cheated when we reached cos there's nothing interesting !!
Ok, maybe we just do not know the right places, but passed by a pet shop.

We were stranded at 後铜railway station for like an hour on our way to 十分.
We missed the train due to unclear 'instructions', so dumb !


The worst part is there is absolutely NOTHING to do there, completely isolated
All we could do is self-entertain with photo-taking & games like hangman. Haha

Got ourselves an ice-cream each before embarking on a long & crazy trekking experience, at least to me.

Partyworld there is totatlly different from any Singapore's KTVs
Super duper grand & great service. Cheap and delicious food, complimentary sweets & whole jug of milk tea. Washroom attached to each KTV room
And a grading system ! Which is kinda redundant but cute

Did some last minute shopping at 新光三越 where i busted few hundreds on skincare
Had our late lunch at the airport. SUCKS TO THE CORE

Anyways, this marks the end of our Taiwan trip.

At least 700bucks were spent on them ! Crazy me, i know.
